Sad news today for the community of Timberwolves fans on the internet. One of my favorite daily rituals is checking in at Canis Hoopus for news about the Wolves, but not today:

All of SB Nation is struck by this tragic loss including those of us who had a chance to meet Tim in person and those who only knew him through his great work here at Canis Hoopus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tim's family and friends as they mourn his passing.

I never met Tim but interacted a bit with him on Twitter, and of course read his stuff on CH. What I knew about him is that he was a guy who genuinely thought he was living the dream, making a living doing something he loved. He was just one of the guys that you I always enjoyed reading, and my condolences go out to his family.

Many have added thier thoughts to the Canis Hoopus thread; if you ever interacted with Tim, his family might appreciated you sharing a few words there.
